His father says, "he is our Valentine," and he is also the end of the genealogical list being the last born of the last parents of the Eighth Generation, descended from Dirk (9), the last of the sons of Harmon Hendrick Rosenkrans (1). As he is a "Valentine" — one precious to the hearts of his parents, so may we each one of us, by our love and devotion to the Saviour, be precious in the sight of "Our Father Which is in Heaven."
